Project of researching achievability of gully and rill erosion determination by using digital elevation models, satellite ımages and orthophotographs that produced within the TIGH projects and used for soil investigations and land consolidaton

The Scope and Objective of the Project: The purpose of the project is that classifying the topographic maps, satellite images that belonging to different years and formats that within the Ministry of Environment and Forestry; making the necessary projection transforms;  occuring the image indexes; making the colour balance and mosaics and published the image services online.

It is planning the hold down the Image 2006 project with 38 countries , EU member countries and neighbour countries. So that, the countries which locates on 60° parallel like Sweeden, Finland, Norway, Iceland, etc.. It had been occured a process chain in order to make image processing for 3800 high resolution satellite images both otomatically and in an operational way.

For this project, it has started for rectification and making mosaic of satellite images that used for Corine project which holds down by ministry in our country.
